Hey, I support what you guys are doing to neuter the patent trolls. Please consider extending this to people who go after statutory damages for supposed copyright violations. Something like, “If you’re going to go after more than $5,000 in statutory damages, you’re going to be liable for the defendant’s legal fees if your case is dismissed or ruled in the defendant’s favor.”

Troll Defendant Strikes Back: Aoptix v. Blue Spike
Aoptix was among dozens of companies sued by Blue Spike in the Eastern District of Texas. It appears that Aoptix has struck back, bringing action on March 11 in the Northern District of California.
The complaint states that Yahoo! and RPX may have taken out licenses.
